KARACHI: Prime Minister Imran Khan will make his first official visit to Karachi today after assuming office.
He will offer prayers at Quaid’s mausoleum and later visit the Governor House where the prime minister will be briefed regarding the security situation and development projects.
A meeting regarding development projects for Karachi will be chaired by Prime Minister Imran. He will also be briefed on projects including Green Line, K-IV, and Karachi Package.
During his one-day visit to the metropolis, the premier will hold a high-level security meeting which will be attended by Governor Sindh Imran Ismail, Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah, Corps Commander Karachi Lt Gen Humayun Aziz, DG Rangers Major General Muhammad Saeed, and IGP Sindh Kaleem Imam.
The premier will hold meetings with members of the business community and participate in a fund-raiser dinner at the Governor House.
