PM Imran departs for day-long visit to UAE

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan left for Abu Dhabi on a day-long visit to the United Arab Emirates on Sunday morning, on the invitation of Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed bin Sultan Al-Nahyan.

The premier is accompanied by Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Finance Minister Asad Umar, Petroleum Minister Ghulam Sarwar Khan, Minister of Energy and Power Omar Ayub Khan as well as adviser to PM on Commerce Abdul Razak Dawood.

PM Imran is expected to discuss matters of bilateral, regional and global interests in meetings with the UAE Prime Minister Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, crown prince and other officials.

This will be PM Imran’s second visit to the country, the first official one being on September 19.
