PM Imran chairs federal cabinet meeting in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: A federal cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan is under way in Islamabad.

According to sources, members of the cabinet are mulling over a six-point agenda in the meeting.

The approval to establish the National Skill University with assistance from Turkey will be accorded today.

Further, bilateral cooperation between Pakistan and Japan in the education sector will be discussed, sources said.

Among the summaries that will be presented for approval is the addition of experts in the monetary and fiscal boards.

The cabinet will approve the appointment of Major General Arif as the director-general of the Anti-Narcotics Force, sources added.
