KARACHI: Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bat against Pakistan in the ongoing ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup on Sunday at Karachi’s National Stadium.
Pakistan are already through to the semi-finals of the tournament, having defeated United Arab Emirates (UAE) in their last match by nine wickets and thrashing Hong Kong by 225-runs in their opening match.
Pakistan are hosting pool B teams that include UAE, Bangladesh and Hong Kong at National Stadium. The rest of the teams are being co-hosted by Sri Lanka.
A total of eight teams including Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, India, Oman, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Hong Kong and UAE are participating in the tournament, which kicked-off on December 6.
The final will be played in Colombo, Sri Lanka on December 15.
